Memories are our anchors in life.
On this, I’d like to reflect on one particular thing that usually happens in our world today.
“How come in all the the good things we do, when you make a mistake all the others seem to wither away to nothingness?”
We are not perfect and thus consistency sometimes breaks. There are times when you can make ammends, in others you cant. For those you can, do your best and always remember. For those you can’t, learn to grow above it. The latter is often the hardest to do especially when the person or thing you want to ammend is so close to your heart.
In my experience the lack of power to ammend things becomes so daunting, depressing and draining. I usually am very good at delivering things that I don’t have much experience in failing. When failure comes, I implode. IT IS SO HARD.
There is hope though.
There is hope in me because of my Faith in God. Sometimes it is just a flicker but it is enough for me. When I wake up with my depression I fight back. “Allizwell”, I say (3 idiots, cheers!) I remember the memories of the good things and the blessings I’ve been given and I shudder to think of not living up to what was given me.
Memories are our anchor. When you see the good in people, see it all the time. Remind them of the goodness they are capable of. Let the bad things go. Face the hardship with love – at least try. 🙂
Titus 1:15-16 “15 To the clean all things are clean, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is clean; in fact, both their minds and their consciences are tainted. 16 They claim to know God, but by their deeds they deny him. They are vile and disobedient and unqualified for any good deed.”
What are the memories that you always remember? 🙂
Who has given you the most happy ones? Have you thanked them yet? 🙂
Amen! God bless! 🙂
